Defect
An inadequate fuel injection control program causes resonance in the injection pipes at mid-range engine speeds, which may crack the pipes. If the vehicle continues to be used in this condition, fuel leaks into the engine oil and is burned inside the cylinders, resulting in power loss or vibration. In the worst case, the engine may stall and cannot be restarted.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the injection characteristic control program and replace the affected pipes (3-, 4-, and 6-cylinder) with new parts.

状況
燃料噴射制御プログラムが不適切なため、中速回転域において噴射パイプに共振が発生し、パイプに亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、燃料が漏れてエンジンオイルに混入して、シリンダ内で燃焼されるため、出力不足となる又は振動が発生し、最悪の場合、エンストし再始動できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、噴射特性の制御プログラムを書き換えるとともに、当該パイプ(3・4・6気筒)を新品と交換する。
