Defect
The solder joints on the electronic circuit board inside the engine control unit are improperly applied. The solder joints can separate, causing a broken wire and transistor damage. This blows the fuel injection power fuse, preventing fuel injection and causing the engine to stall with no ability to restart.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the engine control unit with a conforming unit.

状況
エンジンコントロールユニット内部の電子基板の半田付けが不適切なため、半田部が剥離して断線し、トランジスタが破損するものがある。そのため、燃料噴射用電源のヒューズが溶断して燃料が噴射されず、エンジンが停止し、再始動ができなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、エンジンコントロールユニットを良品と交換する。
