Defect
On large hybrid route buses, an error in the hybrid control program governing engine startup causes fuel delivery to lag behind the supply pump's rotational speed, resulting in insufficient lubrication between the pump's rollers and shoes. Continued use in this condition causes the rollers and shoes to seize, damaging the supply pump and rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the hybrid ECU and supply pump with corrected parts.

状況
大型ハイブリッド路線バスにおいて、 ①エンジン始動時のハイブリッド制御プログラムが不適切なため、サプライポンプの回転速度に燃料供給が追い付かず、サプライポンプのローラとシュー間で潤滑不良を起こすことがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、ローラとシューが焼付いてサプライポンプが破損し、走行できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
①全車両、ハイブリッドECU及びサプライポンプを対策品に交換する。
