Defect
The ignition switch wiring is improperly routed, allowing it to contact the clutch cable, throttle cable, and main harness. Continued use causes wear at the contact points, breaking through the wiring insulation and creating a short circuit. In the worst case, the engine stalls and cannot be restarted.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the ignition switch wiring routing. (1) Where wiring is in contact with adjacent components, correct the routing. (2) Where contact has caused damage to the ignition switch or related parts, replace the damaged parts with new units and reassemble with corrected wiring routing.

状況
電気装置において、イグニッションスイッチの配線の取り回しが不適切なため、クラッチケーブル、スロットルケーブル、メインハーネスと干渉しているものがある。 そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該部位が摩耗して配線の被覆が破れ短絡し、最悪の場合、エンジンが停止して再始動ができないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、イグニッションスイッチの配線状態を点検し、 1配線が干渉しているものは、取り回しを修正する。 2配線が干渉してイグニッションスイッチ等の部品が損傷しているものは、新品に交換するとともに、配線の取り回しを変更して組付ける。
