Defect
On compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles, the primary diaphragm of the low-pressure regulator—responsible for the first stage of pressure reduction—has insufficient strength and may sustain damage through repeated operation. This causes the fuel mixture to run excessively rich, resulting in rough engine operation and hard starting. Continued use may produce backfire and, in the worst case, can damage the secondary diaphragm and cause a fuel leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the low-pressure regulator with the corrected part.

状況
圧縮天然ガス自動車（ＣＮＧ車）において、燃料を供給する低圧側減圧器（レギュレータ）の一次ダイヤフラム（第一段階の減圧用）の強度が不足しているため、作動の繰り返しにより損傷するものがある。そのため、燃料濃度が濃くなりエンジン回転不調や始動不良となり、そのままの状態で使用を続けるとバックファイアが発生することがあり、最悪の場合、二次ダイヤフラムが破損して燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、低圧側減圧器を対策品と交換する。
