Defect
The routing of the nylon tube air line for the wheel parking brake on the rear-front axle is improper. In extreme cold, snow accumulating on the line can freeze into ice, imposing excessive load on the nylon tube. This may cause the tube to fracture and leak air, engaging the parking brake while driving. In the worst case, the rear wheels may lock. (Note: This recall supplements the recall filed on October 30, 2003 under Notification No. 994. The remedy applied to the rear-front axle at that time was insufficient; this action addresses that axle only.)
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the nylon tube with a corrected part and reroute it to an appropriate position.

状況
後前軸の駐車ブレーキ(ホイールパーキングブレーキ)用エア配管(ナイロンチューブ)の取り回しが不適切なため、厳寒時、配管等に付着した雪が凍結して氷塊となり、ナイロンチューブに大きな荷重がかかることがある。そのため、ナイロンチューブが折損してエアが漏れ、走行中に駐車ブレーキが作動し、最悪の場合、後輪がロックするおそれがある。 (備考)本届出は平成15年10月30日付け「届出番号994」でリコール届出したものですが、後前軸の対策が不十分であり不具合があったため、当該軸のみ再対策を行うものである。
改善措置
全車両、当該ナイロンチューブを対策品と交換するとともに取り回しを適切な位置に変更する。
