Defect
The structure connecting the valve and piston inside the pressure-intensifying cylinder of the hydraulic booster is improperly designed. Hydraulic pressure generated when the brake pedal is applied may cause the valve and piston to separate. As a result, braking force may not release after the brake pedal is returned. (Note: This recall addresses a new defect identified in vehicles previously subject to recall notification No. 1168, issued July 21, 2004, and applies a revised remedy.)
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the pressure-intensifying cylinder assembly with the corrected part.

状況
ハイドロリックブースタの増圧シリンダ内部のバルブとピストンを連結する構造が不適切なため、ブレーキペダルを踏んだ際に発生する液圧によりバルブとピストンとが外れる場合がある。 そのため、ブレーキペダルを戻した後も制動力が解除されないおそれがある。 (備考)本届出は、平成16年7月21日付け「届出番号1168」によりリコール届出を行ったものに対して、新たな不具合が出たため、再度対策を行うものである。
改善措置
全車両、増圧シリンダ一式を対策品と交換する。
