Defect
In the hood latch assembly, the weld securing the striker attached to the hood is insufficiently bonded on some vehicles. Continued use may cause the weld joint to detach, separating the striker from the hood. In the worst case, the hood may open while the vehicle is in motion.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the hood with a non-defective unit.

状況
ボンネットを車体に固定するロック装置において、ボンネットに取り付けられているストライカーの溶接が不十分なものがあるため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該ストライカーの溶接部が剥がれることがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、ストライカーがボンネットから外れ、走行中にボンネットが開くおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ボンネットを良品と交換する。
