Defect
The striker on the hood latch assembly of an aftermarket resin hood (Mazdaspeed Aero Hood) is improperly designed. Continued use causes the striker weld to fracture. In the worst case, the hood may open while the vehicle is in motion and shatter the windshield.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the striker with a corrected part.

状況
アフターマーケット用品として販売された樹脂製ボンネット（マツダスピード・エアロボ ンネット）のロック装置のストライカーの構造が不適切なため、そのままの状態で使用を 続けると、当該ストライカーの溶接部が破損し、最悪の場合、走行中にボンネットが開き 、前面ガラスを破損させるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ストライカーを対策品と交換する。
