Defect
The air charge pipe that supplies compressed air to the brake system air tank has insufficient strength. Vibration during vehicle operation may cause cracks to develop in the pipe. Continued use allows air to leak from the cracked pipe. In the worst case, braking force may decrease.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected pipe, pipe mounting bracket, and retaining bracket with corrected parts. In addition, apply a sticker to the maintenance booklet of each subject vehicle indicating that the retaining bracket must be replaced every one or two years.

状況
制動装置用エアタンクに圧縮空気を供給するパイプ（エアチャージパイプ）の強度が不足しているため、車体の振動等により当該パイプに亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該パイプからエアが漏れ、最悪の場合、制動力が低下するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該パイプ、パイプ取付金具及び固定金具を対策品と交換する。 また、対象車のメンテナンスノート・整備手帳に、当該固定金具を１年又は２年毎に交換する旨のシールを追加する。
