Defect
The bracket designed to prevent contact between the parking brake cable and the transmission shift control rod has an improper shape. When the cab is tilted up, the parking brake cable can catch on this bracket. If the cab is then lowered in that condition, the parking brake cable can disengage from its fixed bracket inside the cab, causing the parking brake to become inoperative.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the interference prevention bracket with a corrected part. Additionally, inspect the parking brake cable and replace it with a new unit if any damage is found.

状況
駐車ブレーキケーブルとトランスミッション変速コントロールロッドの干渉を防止するための金具の形状が不適切なため、キャビンを上げた際に駐車ブレーキケーブルが、当該金具に引っ掛かることがある。そのため、そのままの状態でキャビンを下げた場合、駐車ブレーキケーブルがキャブ内に設置された固定金具より外れ、駐車ブレーキが効かなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、干渉防止用金具を対策品と交換する。なお駐車ブレーキケーブルを点検し、損傷がある場合は新品と交換する。
