Defect
On compressed natural gas vehicles, the sealing plug on the high-pressure fuel regulator is insufficiently torqued. Pressure fluctuations acting on the plug during engine starting may cause it to loosen. Continued use allows the O-ring fitted to the sealing plug to sustain damage, which may result in a fuel leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the sealing plug and retorque it to the specified value. Any unit showing fuel leakage or loosening will have its O-ring replaced with a new part.

状況
圧縮天然ガス自動車において、燃料を供給する高圧レギュレータの密閉プラグ締付け力 が不足しているため、エンジン始動時の当該密閉プラグに掛かる圧力変動により、密閉プ ラグが緩むものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、密閉プラグに取付けられて いるオーリングが損傷し、燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、点検し、当該密閉プラグを増し締めする。なお、燃料漏れのあるもの及び緩みの あるものは、オーリングを新品と交換する。
