Defect
The front-wheel brake pipes of the service brake system are routed improperly. During snowfall, snow accumulates and freezes on the pipes, forming ice deposits that grow downward and contact the road surface while driving. This applies excessive load to the pipes. The pipes may fracture and brake fluid may leak, illuminating the brake warning lamp and sounding an alert. In the worst case, front-wheel braking capability is lost.
Corrective action
Inspect the front-wheel brake pipes on all vehicles and replace any damaged pipes with new parts. Install snow-accumulation shields on the front-wheel brake pipes of all vehicles.

状況
主制動装置の前輪用配管の取り回しが不適切なため、降雪時、当該配管に着雪して凍結し 氷塊となり、更に氷塊が下側に増大して垂れ下がり、走行時に路面等と接触して当該配管 に大きな荷重がかかることがある。そのため、当該配管が折損して制動液が漏れ、ブレー キの警告灯が点灯するとともに警報が鳴り、前輪が制動不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、前輪用配管を点検し、損傷のある場合は新品と交換する。 全車両、前輪用配管に着雪防止板を取り付ける。
