Defect
The trunnion seat that mounts the rear leaf spring in the suspension was machined improperly, resulting in incorrect geometry at the spring stopper corners. Under the high lateral loads experienced during low-speed turning, the spring stopper may fracture and detach, creating a road hazard for other traffic.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the trunnion seat with a non-defective part.

状況
緩衝装置の後輪リーフスプリングを取り付けるトラニオンシートの加工が不適切なため、 スプリングストッパの角部に形状不良のものがある。そのため、低速旋回時に当該部に大 きな横荷重がかかり、スプリングストッパが破損し脱落して、他の交通の安全を妨げるお それがある。
改善措置
全車両、トラニオンシートを良品と交換する。
