Defect
The spline machining on the axle shaft is improper, resulting in insufficient engagement between the axle shaft spline and the differential side gear. Continued use in this condition may cause the side gear to break, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the axle shaft with a known-good unit and replace the differential carrier with a new unit.

状況
アクスルシャフトのスプラインの加工が不適切なため、アクスルシャフトのスプライン とデフのサイドギヤとの噛み合いが不十分となるものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を 続けると、サイドギヤが破損し、走行不能になるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、アクスルシャフトを良品に、デフキャリアを新品に交換する。
