Defect
The sleeve of the rear suspension lower arm (toe control link) was improperly welded during steel tube forming, leaving insufficient weld strength. Continued use may cause the weld to fracture, separating the lower arm from the bush. In the worst case, steering or braking at highway speeds may result in loss of vehicle stability.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected lower arm with a corrected part.

状況
後輪緩衝装置のロアアーム(トーコントロールリンク)スリーブ部において、鋼管素材 成形時の溶接が不適切なため、溶接強度の不足しているものがあり、そのままの状態で使 用を続けると、当該溶接部が破断してロアアームとブッシュが外れ、最悪の場合、高速走 行時の操舵又はブレーキ操作時に走行安定性が損なわれるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ロアアームを良品と交換する。
