Defect
The manufacturing process for the brake master cylinder is improper, causing the rubber cup fitted to the secondary-side piston inside the cylinder to swell on some units. Continued use causes the rubber cup to sustain damage through sliding contact. In the worst case, hydraulic fluid leaks and braking force decreases.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the master cylinder with a non-defective unit.

状況
ブレーキマスターシリンダーの製造方法が不適切なため、シリンダー内セカンダリー側ピ ストンに装着されているゴムカップに膨潤しているものがあり、このままの状態で使用し 続けると、当該ゴムカップが摺動により傷つき、最悪の場合、液圧が漏れて、制動力が低 下するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該マスターシリンダーを良品と交換する。
