Defect

The mounting position of the retaining clamp on the front brake hose — which maintains clearance between the electrical wiring and the tire — is incorrect. Continued use in this condition may damage the brake hose and, in the worst case, cause brake fluid to leak and reduce braking force.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the brake hose with a new part and relocate the retaining clamp to the correct position.

状況

前輪用ブレーキホースに取り付けられた、電気配線とタイヤの間隔を確保するための固定 クランプの取付位置が不適切なため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該ブレーキホ ースが損傷し、最悪の場合、ブレーキ液が漏れ、制動力が低下するおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、当該ブレーキホースを新品に交換するとともに、固定クランプの取付位置を変更 する。
