Defect
The clearance between the nylon brake air line tubing and the exhaust pipe heat shield is insufficient. Continued use allows the tubing to melt from heat exposure. In the worst case, brake system air pressure drops below the required level and the emergency brake activates.
Corrective action
Inspect all vehicles. Replace any heat-damaged tubing with the corrected part. On vehicles with no heat damage, cut the tubing to the correct length and add mounting brackets and retaining clamps.

状況
制動装置の空気配管用ナイロンチューブと排気管の遮熱板との隙間に不適切なものがある ため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該チューブが熱により溶損するものがあり、 最悪の場合、ブレーキ系統の空気圧が不足し、非常ブレーキが作動するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両点検し、当該チューブに熱影響があるものは対策品に交換するとともに、熱影響の ないものは当該チューブを適正な長さに変更し、取付金具及び固定金具を追加する。
