Defect
The retaining bracket crimp securing the ball joint that connects the upper arm to the knuckle in the front suspension is insufficient. Continued use in this condition may damage the joint and, in the worst case, cause the ball joint to separate from the upper arm, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the left and right upper ball joints and replace any unit with an insufficiently crimped retaining bracket with a non-defective part.

状況
前輪緩衝装置のアッパーアームとナックルを連結しているボールジョイントの保持金具の かしめに不十分なものがあるため、このままの状態で使用を続けると、当該部分が損傷し 、最悪の場合、ボールジョイントがアッパーアームから外れ、走行不能に至るおそれがあ る。
改善措置
全車両、左右アッパーボールジョントを点検し、当該保持金具のかしめが不十分なものは 良品と交換する。
