Defect
The sealing method for the vent on the parking brake air chamber is inadequate, allowing water to enter the chamber and corrode the internal spring. Continued use allows rust to progress until, in the worst case, the spring fractures and parking brake performance is reduced.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the parking brake air chamber with a new unit and add a waterproof cover.

状況

改善措置
