Defect
The battery cable in the engine compartment is improperly routed, allowing it to contact the fuel hose or fuel pipe. Continued use damages the cable insulation, causing a short circuit that may in the worst case result in a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
Reroute the battery cable on all vehicles. Replace any cable that has already sustained damage with a conforming unit.

状況
エンジンルーム内のバッテリケーブルの電気配線の取り回しが不適切なため、燃料ホース またはパイプと当該ケーブルが接触するものがあり、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、 当該ケーブルの被覆が損傷して短絡し、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ケーブルの取り回しを変更する。また、当該ケーブルに損傷があるものは良 品と交換する。
