Defect
On driving school instructor brake systems, the brake booster has an inadequate water seal, allowing water to enter the atmospheric valve inside the booster. In the worst case, the intruding water may freeze, impairing booster function and increasing the brake pedal effort required to achieve braking.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, install a rubber cover on the brake booster atmospheric valve and replace the upper diaphragm assembly of the atmospheric valve with a conforming part.

状況
自動車教習車の教官用ブレーキの制動倍力装置において、遮水構造が不適切なため当該制 動倍力装置の大気バルブ内部に水が浸入することがあり、最悪の場合、侵入した水が凍結 し、制動倍力装置の機能が損なわれ、制動時のブレーキペダルの操作力が増大するおそれ がある。
改善措置
全車両、当該制動倍力装置の大気バルブにゴムカバーを取り付けるとともに大気バルブの アッパーダイヤフラム部を良品と交換する。
