Defect
A defect in the manufacturing process of the audio unit circuit board has caused damage to a capacitor on some units. Continued use may cause a short circuit across the capacitor terminals, allowing excessive current to flow through the speakers. In the worst case, this may result in a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the audio unit with a conforming part. As an interim measure, owners are notified to discontinue use of the audio unit until the corrective action is completed.

状況
音響機器のオーディオ本体の配線基盤において、当該基盤の製造工程が不適切なため、コ ンデンサが損傷しているものがあり、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該コンデンサ の端子間が短絡して、スピーカに過大な電流が流れ、最悪の場合、火災にいたるおそれが ある。
改善措置
全車両、オーディオ本体を良品と交換する。 暫定措置として、改善措置対策が完了するまでの間、オーディオの使用中止等の主知をす る。
