Issue

The fuel pump relay terminals inside the carburetor controller contain an insufficient solder quantity. Continued use causes cracks to develop at the solder joint, resulting in poor electrical continuity. This may cause rough engine idling or extended cranking time required for restart.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, the carburetor controller is replaced with a corrected part.

状況

原動機のキャブレータコントローラ内のフューエルポンプリレー端子の半田量に不適切な ものがあり、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該半田部にクラックが発生するものが あり、導通不良となって、アイドル不調若しくは再始動に時間を要する場合がある。

改善措置

全車両、当該キャブレータコントローラを対策品と交換する。
