Issue
The inspection instructions for the waterproof boot during a previous improvement campaign were inadequate, resulting in some vehicles not receiving proper inspection and replacement. Continued use allows the throttle cable to corrode with rust. In the worst case, the accelerator grip may fail to return to the closed position, preventing engine speed from decreasing.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the throttle cable to determine its specification. On vehicles found to have the affected cable, replace the complete throttle cable assembly with a conforming part.

状況
改善対策時の防水ブーツの点検作業指示が不適切なため、適正な点検交換作業がされなかったものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、ケーブルが錆び、最悪の場合、アクセルグリップが戻らなくなり、エンジンの回転が下がらなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、スロットルケーブルの識別を点検し、該当するものはスロットルケーブル一式を良品と交換する。
