Issue

The CFRP cargo bed wing panels have insufficient strength to withstand high winds and similar conditions. If the wing is operated during strong winds, the wing structure may sustain damage and, in the worst case, the side panel may separate and fall from the vehicle.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, secure the end stiffener and side panel with wire to prevent side panel separation and detachment. Additionally, replace the operator's manual with a revised version containing clarified warnings, and affix a warning label near the wing operation switch.

状況

①CFRP製の荷台において、ウイングの強風時等に対する強度が不足しているため、強  風時等にウイング操作を行った場合、当該ウイングが破損し、最悪の場合、当該ウイン  グのサイドパネルが分離、脱落するおそれがある。

改善措置

①全車両、サイドパネルが分離、脱落しないように、エンドスチフナとサイドパネルをワ  イヤーで締結する。また、警告表示を明確にした取扱説明書と差し替え、警告ラベルを  ウイング操作スイッチ近傍に貼り付ける。
