Defect
(1) In the fuel cell stack, improper waterproofing of the coolant passages in the end unit resulted in insufficient fill of the waterproof sealant in some units. This reduces sealing performance in the coolant passages, allowing coolant to leak and illuminating the power system warning light. With continued use, fuel cell output decreases, causing poor acceleration. In the worst case, power generation stops, the drive-continuation-impossible warning light illuminates, and the vehicle becomes inoperable. (2) In the fuel cell stack, insufficient inspection of the coolant joint process resulted in inadequate sealing at the coolant joint holder in some units. Coolant leaks from the holder, illuminating the power system warning light. With continued use, fuel cell output decreases, causing poor acceleration. In the worst case, power generation stops, the drive-continuation-impossible warning light illuminates, and the vehicle becomes inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles (conditions 1 and 2), replace the fuel cell stack with the corrected part.

状況
①燃料電池スタックにおいて、エンドユニット内の冷却水路の防水処理が不適切なため、防水シール剤の充填量が不足しているものがある。そのため、冷却水路のシール性が低くなり冷却水が漏れ、パワーシステム警告灯が点灯し、そのまま使用を続けると、燃料電池の出力が低下し加速不良となり、最悪の場合、発電を停止し、走行継続不可警告灯が点灯して走行不能となるおそれがある。 ②燃料電池スタックにおいて、冷却水ジョイントの検査工程が不十分なため、冷却水ジョイントホルダ部のシール性が不足しているものがある。そのため、ホルダ部より冷却水が漏れ、パワーシステム警告灯が点灯し、そのまま使用を続けると、燃料電池の出力が低下し加速不良となり、最悪の場合、発電を停止し、走行継続不可警告灯が点灯して走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
①②全車両、燃料電池スタックを対策品と交換する。
