Defect
The lock nuts inside the left and right front forks were improperly torqued during assembly, allowing them to loosen in service. This causes abnormal noise and reduced ride stability. Continued operation may result in the lock nuts detaching completely, and in the worst case, the front forks may lock up.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the left and right front forks. Any lock nut found to be loose must be retorqued to the specified value. If a lock nut has sustained damage due to loosening, replace the affected components with new parts.

状況
左右フロントフォークにおいて、内部のロックナットの締め付けが不適切なため、使用過程で、当該ロックナットが緩むものがある。そのため、異音や走行安定性の支障が発生し、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該ロックナットが外れ、最悪の場合、フロントフォークがロックするおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、左右フロントフォークを点検し、ロックナットに緩みがあるものは、適切に締め付ける。また、ロックナットが緩みにより損傷している場合には、損傷箇所を新品に交換する。
