Defect
The wire type selected for the front sub-harness is inadequate. Repeated steering inputs cause the harness to develop a broken wire. This may result in malfunctions of the headlights, turn signals, speedometer, and horn, or the engine may stall and fail to restart.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the front sub-harness with a corrected part and the turn signal harness with a new part, and change the harness routing attachment positions.
