Defect
In the electronically controlled air processing unit, insufficient evaluation during development allows the noise silencer to detach from the compressed air discharge port of the air dryer. This detached silencer may obstruct other traffic. Additionally, noise emitted during compressed air discharge may exceed the regulatory noise limit and fail to conform to Safety Standards.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the silencer with a corrected part and add a tank and associated piping to the air dryer.

状況
電子制御型エアプロセッシングユニットにおいて、開発時の評価が不適切なため、エアドライヤの圧縮エア排出時にサイレンサが脱落することがある。そのため、他の交通の妨げとなるおそれがあるとともに、圧縮エア排出時の騒音が騒音規制値を超え、保安基準に適合しないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、サイレンサを対策品に交換し、エアドライヤにタンクおよび配管を追加する。
