Defect
The electric parking brake ECU contains a software defect that may prevent the ECU from starting when the start switch is turned on. As a result, a warning lamp illuminates and the parking brake may become impossible to release or impossible to apply.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the electric parking brake ECU with the corrected part.

改善措置
全車両、電動パーキングブレーキＥＣＵを対策品に交換する。
