Defect
The Dynamic Stability Control unit contains a software defect in the program that detects yaw rate characteristic abnormalities, preventing it from making a correct fault determination. As a result, even when a yaw rate characteristic abnormality occurs, the unit fails to detect the fault, and the TCS/DSC warning lamp may not illuminate. TCS (Traction Control System) prevents drive wheel spin during starting and cornering acceleration on slippery surfaces to maintain appropriate driving force and vehicle control. DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) automatically controls the brake and engine output via ABS and TCS to suppress vehicle lateral sliding during sharp steering maneuvers or on slippery roads, maintaining vehicle stability.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the Dynamic Stability Control unit with the corrected part. Because preparation of replacement parts requires additional time, owners will be notified again once parts are available.

状況
ダイナミック・スタビリティ・コントロールユニットにおいて、ヨーレートの特性異常を検知するプログラムが不適切なため、正しく判定できない。そのため、ヨーレートの特性異常が発生しても故障判定できず、ＴＣＳ／ＤＳＣ作動表示灯が点灯しないおそれがある。 ＴＣＳ・・・トラクションコントロールシステム：水にぬれた路面や雪道等の滑り易い路面での発進や旋回加速時に起こる駆動輪の空転を防ぎ、適切な駆動力と操縦性を確保するシステム ＤＳＣ・・・ダイナミック・スタビリティ・コントロール：滑り易い路面での走行時や、緊急回避など急激なハンドル操作による車両の横すべりを抑えるため、ＡＢＳやＴＣＳ等によりブレーキやエンジンの出力を自動的に制御し、車両の安定性を確保するシステム
改善措置
全車両、ダイナミック・スタビリティ・コントロールユニットを対策品に交換する。なお、交換部品の準備に時間を要することから、準備ができ次第、改めて案内する。
