Defect
On fuel gauge harnesses, inadequate work instruction management allowed the harness to be damaged during vehicle floor machining operations. As a result, fuel level information may not be transmitted to the fuel gauge. In the worst case, the engine may stall while driving and fail to restart.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the vehicle harness for damage; if damage is found, replace the harness with a new one.

状況
燃料計ハーネスにおいて、作業指示管理が不十分だったため、車両床面加工時に当該ハーネスを損傷させたものがある。そのため、燃料残量の情報が燃料計に伝わらず、最悪の場合、走行中にエンストし再始動出来ないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、車両ハーネスの損傷有無を確認し、損傷がみられた場合はハーネスを新品と交換する。
