Defect

Replacement repair parts kits for the rear shock absorber were incorrectly configured to include bolts shorter than the specified genuine part. If these bolts are used during replacement, vibration and other forces encountered during driving may cause them to loosen, producing abnormal noise. In the worst case, the fastening may separate completely, compromising vehicle driving stability.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, inspect the rear shock absorber mounting bolts and, if incorrect bolts are found installed, replace them with the correct genuine parts.
