Defect
Due to insufficient consideration during the design process, the tail lamps installed on the lower rear of large wing-body vehicles are positioned beyond the specified maximum allowable distance from the outermost edge of the vehicle. As a result, the tail lamp mounting position does not satisfy the Safety Standards.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, relocate the tail lamp mounting position to the correct specified location.

状況
大型ウイング車の後面下部に取り付けている尾灯について、設計時の検討が不十分なため、自動車の最外側から尾灯までの距離が基準値を超えている。そのため、尾灯の取付位置の保安基準を満足していない。
改善措置
全車両、テールランプ取付位置を正規の位置に移設する。
