Defect

On large buses, the clutch switch is installed at an incorrect angle, causing the movable contact shaft and return spring to rub against each other. The resulting wear debris accumulates on the contact surfaces. When the clutch is engaged, this debris causes a contact failure, and the auxiliary braking device may fail to activate.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the clutch switch with a corrected part.

状況
