Defect
On large low-floor trucks with a tandem front axle, the radiator lower hose is improperly assembled, leaving insufficient clearance between the hose and the engine under cover. As the hose expands during normal use, vibration of the engine under cover at idle causes the two components to contact and abrade the hose. If use continues in this condition, the hose may crack and coolant will leak. In the worst case, this can result in engine overheating.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect and correct the radiator lower hose installation, and replace the engine under cover with the corrected part. If the radiator lower hose shows damage, replace it with a new unit.

状況
大型トラック低床前輪２軸の冷却装置において、ラジエータロアホースの組付け方法が不適切なため、当該ホースとエンジンアンダーカバーの隙間が狭いものがある。そのため、使用過程で当該ホースが膨張した場合、エンジンアイドリング時においてエンジンアンダーカバーが振動することにより双方が干渉して、当該ホースが損傷することがある。そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該ホースが亀裂して冷却水が漏れ、最悪の場合、オーバーヒートに至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ラジエータロアホースの組付け状態を確認・修正し、エンジンアンダーカバーを対策品と交換する。なお、ラジエータロアホースに損傷があるものは新品と交換する。
