Defect
In the wiring for the generator and related components, the connector mounting bracket was improperly machined, causing damage to the connector and reducing its vibration resistance. Continued use under these conditions allows driving vibration to cause poor contact at the connector terminals, resulting in a charging fault and illumination of the warning light. In the worst case, the engine may stall and fail to restart.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the connector mounting bracket with a new part and add a rubber sheet to the wiring. If the connector is found to be damaged, replace it with a new connector as well.

状況
発電機等の配線において、コネクタ取付ブラケットの加工が不適切なため、コネクタが破損して防振性が低下しているものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、走行振動等によりコネクタの端子部に接触不良が生じ、発電不良により警告灯が点灯し、最悪の場合、エンジンが停止して再始動できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、コネクタ取付ブラケットを新品に交換し、加えて、配線にラバーシートを追加する。なお、コネクタが破損している場合は、コネクタを新品に交換する。
