Defect
During the engine balancer sprocket assembly process, improper torque application during bolt tightening has resulted in some units being assembled with the sprocket bolts only temporarily snugged. Continued use allows the bolts to loosen during driving and, in the worst case, may cause engine damage.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected engine with a conforming unit.

状況
エンジンのバランサースプロケット組付け工程において、スプロケットボルトの締め付け作業が不適切なため、仮締め状態で組みつけられたものがあり、そのまま使用を続けると、走行中に当該ボルトが緩み、最悪の場合、エンジンが破損するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該エンジンを良品と交換する。
