Defect
On 4-axle container-dedicated vehicles, the shape of the upper fenders on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th axles is incorrect, allowing rotating components to protrude beyond the fender area. This condition does not conform to the requirements of Article 18 of the Safety Standards.
Corrective action
Because the required correction varies by vehicle, perform the applicable measure(s) from the following: (1) Add a corrected part to the 2nd-axle fender so that rotating components do not protrude, and install a spacer at the center side turn signal mounting point. (2) Change the length of the right-side underrun protection device. (3) Install a spacer at the underrun protection device mounting point.

状況
4軸コンテナ専用車において、2軸目および3、4軸目の上部フェンダの形状が不適切なため、回転部分が当該部位から突出している。そのため、保安基準第18条の基準に適合しない。
改善措置
車両によって改善内容が異なることから次のうち必要な改善を行う。 ①2軸目のフェンダに回転部分が突出しないように対策品を追加し、中央部の側面方向指示器の取付部にスペーサを取り付ける。 ②右側巻込防止装置の長さを変更する。 ③巻込防止装置の取付部にスペーサを取り付ける。
