Defect
On concrete mixer trucks, the control cable that operates the drum is routed improperly. When the cab is tilted, the securing clip deforms and allows the control cable to contact the brake air tube. Continued use allows driving vibration to damage the air tube. In the worst case, one brake circuit may fail, extending stopping distance.
Corrective action
Reroute the control cable to prevent contact with the air tube and replace the control cable securing clip with a corrected part. Wrap protective material around the air tube. If contact marks are found on the air tube, repair or replace the air tube with a new part.

状況
コンクリートミキサー車のドラムを操作するコントロールケーブルにおいて、配索が不適切なため、キャブチルト時に固定クリップが変形してコントロールケーブルがブレーキ用のエアチューブに接触することがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、走行振動により車両のエアチューブが損傷し、最悪の場合、ブレーキが1系統失陥し制動停止距離が伸びるおそれがある。
改善措置
コントロールケーブルとエアチューブが接触しないよう配索を変更し、コントロールケーブルの固定クリップを対策品に交換する。エアチューブに保護材を巻きつける。なお、エアチューブに接触痕がある場合には、エアチューブを補修または新品に交換する。
