Defect
On roof rails, the front cover mounting configuration is improperly designed. During assembly of the roof rail onto the vehicle body, some of the front cover retaining clips may be damaged. Continued use can cause the clip damage to worsen, leading to looseness. In the worst case, the front cover may detach while driving and create a hazard for other traffic.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the roof rail front leg with the corrected part.

状況
ルーフレールにおいて、フロントカバー取付け部の設定が不適切なため、ルーフレールを車体に組付ける際に、フロントカバーの固定爪の一部が損傷することがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、固定爪の損傷が拡大してガタが発生し、最悪の場合、走行中にフロントカバーが脱落し、他の交通の妨げになるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ルーフレールのフロントレッグを対策品に交換する。
