Defect
On large hybrid transit buses, insufficient durability of the fan belt combined with improper alignment adjustment and tension rod torque causes the belt to wear prematurely and separate from the pulley. This may result in coolant temperature rising and the engine overheating.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the fan belt and radiator mounting bracket with corrected parts, replace the tension rod with a conforming part, and adjust the alignment to the specified value.

状況
大型ハイブリッド路線バスにおいて、 ①ファンベルトの耐久性不足およびアライメントの調整とテンションロッドの締付けが不適切なため、ベルトが早期に摩耗しプーリから外れるものがある。そのため、水温が上昇してオーバーヒートとなるおそれがある。
改善措置
①全車両、ファンベルトとラジエータ固定金具を対策品に交換するとともにテンションロッドを良品に交換し、アライメントを適正に調整する。
