Defect
On large hybrid transit buses, an incorrect control program in the hybrid system ECU causes the following fault: when the vehicle decelerates to below a certain speed at low velocity, the stall-prevention function disengages the clutch, but the system subsequently fails to switch to motor drive, leaving the vehicle unable to accelerate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the hybrid ECU with a corrected part.
