Defect
On light trucks, incorrect installation instructions resulted in steering gear boxes with a larger-than-specified steering angle being fitted to certain vehicles. When the steering wheel is turned to its maximum lock position and the brakes are applied sharply, the tire may contact other components.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the steering gear box with the correct specification unit.

状況
小型トラックのステアリングギヤボックスにおいて、装着指示が不適切なため、切れ角の大きい仕様を装着したものがある。そのため、ハンドルを最大限度まで切った状態で急制動をした場合、タイヤが他の部品と接触するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ステアリングギヤボックスを正規品に交換する。
