Defect
In medium and large route buses, the bolts securing the door engine coupling bracket on the center door (sliding type) are improperly tightened, causing the bolts to loosen and back out. A backed-out bolt may interfere with the inner pillar and prevent the center door from opening and closing reliably.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, retighten the door engine coupling bracket mounting bolts to the specified torque. If loosening is found in any bolt, adjust the position of the door engine coupling bracket.

状況
大中型路線バスの中扉(引き戸)において、ドアエンジン連結金具を固定するボルトの締め付けが不適切なため、当該ボルトが緩んで抜け出すものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、抜け出したボルトがインナーピラーと干渉し、中扉の確実な開閉が出来なくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ドアエンジン連結金具の固定ボルトを規程トルクで締め付ける。また、当該ボルトに緩みが認められた場合は、ドアエンジン連結金具の位置調整を実施する。
