Defect
On refuse collection vehicles equipped with a compressed natural gas (CNG) engine, some units are missing rivets that secure the frame reinforcement to the chassis frame. Bending and torsional loads during vehicle operation generate high stress concentrations around the empty rivet holes. Continued use in this condition may, in the worst case, cause cracks to develop in the chassis frame.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, bolts and nuts are added to any rivet holes found to be missing rivets at the frame-to-frame-reinforcement attachment points.

状況
圧縮天然ガス（ＣＮＧ）エンジン搭載の塵芥車において、フレームにフレーム補強材を固定しているリベットの一部が欠品しているものがある。そのため、走行時の曲げ、捩り入力等により、欠品しているリベット穴周辺に高応力が発生し、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、最悪の場合、フレームに亀裂が入るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、フレームとフレーム補強材の固定部のリベットが欠品しているリベット穴に、ボルト及びナットを追加する。
