Defect
On plug-in hybrid vehicles, the fail-safe control program in the hybrid controller is incorrect. When a communication fault occurs between the engine controller and the hybrid controller, the throttle position fail-safe may not operate correctly. Instead of closing the throttle fully as intended, the system retains the throttle position that was active immediately before the communication fault occurred and may fail to automatically cancel the accelerator control.
Corrective action
Reprogram the control software on all vehicles with the corrected program.

状況
1. プラグインハイブリッド仕様の加速装置において、ハイブリッドコントローラのフェイルセーフの制御プログラムが不適切であるため、エンジンコントローラとハイブリッドコントローラが通信不良となった場合、アクセル開度制御のフェイルセーフが正常に作動しないことがある。そのため、フェイルセーフの作動によりアクセル開度を全閉にするところを、通信不良となる直前のアクセル開度を保持してしまい、当該装置の作動を自動的に解除しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該制御プログラムを修正する。
