Defect
During manufacturing of the brake booster, the internal diaphragm may have been scratched. Continued operation allows the scratch to propagate through the diaphragm wall. In the worst case, brake pedal effort increases and stopping distance is extended.
Corrective action
Replace the brake booster on all vehicles with a corrected part.

状況
制動倍力装置の製造時に、当該装置内部のダイヤフラムに傷がついたものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると傷が貫通し、最悪の場合、ブレーキペダルの操作力が増大し、制動距離が長くなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、制動倍力装置を良品に交換する。
